WORLD PREMIÉRE AND RECITAL!

Westminster Cathedral Hall, 15th March 2011, 7.15 pm

WCCS OBA hosted the première of 'Laudate Pueri Dominum' by internationally renowned choral composer and previous Master of Music, Colin Mawby. The piece was commissioned by the Old Boys' Association, and performed by the Gallery Choir of Westminster Cathedral Choir School.

We also welcomed the young, vibrant Solstice Quartet, and renowned clarinettist David Campbell who played Mozart's Clarinet Quintet.

1st ANNUAL CARDINAL HUME DINNER

The OBA proudly launched the inaugural Cardinal Hume Dinner on June 25th, 2010.

The evening was a great success and was attended by a large and wonderful group of Old Boys who gave generiously during the raffle and auction in order to support the fundraising effort for new musical equipment.

A big thanks to the OBA committee for their energy and tireless support.

CARDINAL HUME AWARD

The OBA has established a Cardinal Hume Award. The award was presented at Prize Giving at the end of the Trinity Term 2010.

The award went to Matteo Pozzi in Year 7, who embodies the Benedictine ideals of generosity, commitment, helpfulness and good humour.
