PARENTS ASSOCIATION (PA)
What is the Parents Association
(‘PA’)?
The PA consists entirely of parent volunteers who meet regularly
to organise events and activities for the benefit of the
school community.
The PA is a great way to get to know other parents and to
keep informed of various school developments. The meetings
are informal and inclusive.
PA meetings are held once a month. The dates are listed in
the School calendar and in the Head Master’s newsletters.
The meetings start at 9:00 am in the school refectory. Coffee
and biscuits are provided.
The next PA meeting is on Thursday 6th
May at 9.00 am in
the School Refectory.
How to get involved
As a parent of a WCCS student, you are automatically a PA
member. All parents are welcome to attend PA meetings at
any time.
PA Officers
Please don’t hesitate to contact one of the officers if you
have any questions:
There is also a team of Form
Representatives for each year. These Form Representatives
help organise communication amongst the other parents within
their respective forms.
As a reminder, you don’t need
to be an officer or representative to attend the meetings.
PA Projects
Over the years, the PA has worked with the Head master to
raise money to support numerous school projects.
• Total Refurbishment
of School Playground – The PA raised over £60,000 to
help finance the recent re-surfacing and upgrading of the
School playground. This project was accomplished through
the tireless support of many parent volunteers who managed
after-school bake sales, Friday BBQs, parent fundraising
dinners and a Halloween party for the boys.
• Expansion of the school library; ICT upgrades; science equipment; music equipment;
WCCS archive support.

Gift
Aid your Donation to WCCS
WCCS is charity. If you are a UK taxpayer, you can Gift Aid your donation. This
means WCCS gets an additional 28p for every £1.00 you give.

Events
The PA is currently seeking support from parents for the
following events. We welcome all volunteers.
• Easter Egg Sale – WCCS coffee mugs filled with chocolates
• Saturday Spring Fling – Family Fun in the Playground, Saturday
June 19th
